Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh was born 17 October 1992 in India is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. In 2018, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the role of actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the child of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child performer during the 2000s, and later went back to film after studying fashion design. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed on to be a part of several Tamil film projects simultaneously. While the film did not do well in the theaters Her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played opposite Vikramprabhu. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her choose to stay out of movies that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to make room for larger projects. Within a brief period she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor in Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film was pushed back since 2015 and reports suggest it will be released after September, 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
