Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. Her current position is that as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the National Basketball Association's controlling owners. Buss, a Californian native, grew up with an affluent background. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon and then later owned the Lakers. Their relationship ended in 1972 which made her feel emotionally neglected. In the year 19 she was appointed the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. The team was later renamed in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice President for the Lakers. Her father passed away in 2013, and the control for the Lakers was passed on to Buss as well as her siblings via a trust for the family with each sibling having an equal vote.
