Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. As a young girl, Houston started performing professionally in the choir of her church. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosns 1978 single Im Every Woman with her mom. She went on to provide the backing vocals of Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her mother, and also did a brief stint as models for the front cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her singing with New York-based band Material attracted major record labels such as Arista. They signed her with Arista in 1983, where she continued to work for the rest of her career. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album by a debut artist. Several hit singles including the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Can I Tell You If It's Good to Love You and The Greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting her up for a Beatles-beating seven consecutive US number ones. The album was sold to three million people in its first year, as well as 25 million around the world. She won her first six Grammys. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the best-selling artists in history. The film and her part as a character was not appreciated, but the soundtrack as well as her version to Dolly's I Will Always Love You were charting for months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold nearly 44 million albums and singles worldwide. Her daughter Bobbi is born the month of March of 1993, the year after she wed Bobby Brown. Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorperson for the CNN reporter and political reporter for CNN. She has also produced several of the network's Saturday shows such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels in the past including NBC as well as CBS. Bash was awarded many times, including a place in the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. She is known for her incredible anchoring and reporting skills she is admired by a lot of young journalists within the business.
