Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963, in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singing star Dionne Warwick. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the church choir as a small child. When she was 15 years old, she joined her mom in singing background vocals on Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. She went on to provide backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls as well as her own mother and did a brief stint as models on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. Her first gig was as a lead performer for the The New York-based New York Funk band Material. Her vocal quality work attracted attention from big record labels like Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album, released in 1985 was the top-selling album of an unproven singer. On the album, she came out with several hits including Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Are You Going to Know If You Give Good Love and The Greatest Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US Top Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. In its initial US year, the album was had sold more than 3 million copies. Then it went on to be purchased by millions of people around the world, earning her the first Grammy. Whitney, her album Whitney was released in 1987, featuring hit singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, was a follow-up to her success from. It came with The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as the top selling album in music. While her movie performance and soundtrack was not well-received however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the accompanying album topped charts around the globe for months. In the same year, she got married to ex-New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their child Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993. Around this time, her well-documented addiction to drugs began. By 1996, Bobbi Kristina Brown had been using drugs on a daily basis.

Dana Bash, also known by the name Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who serves as a political correspondent for CNN. The anchor has also created some of the network's weekend shows such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels before, including NBC and CBS. The awards and honors she has received include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Her remarkable anchoring and reportage capabilities are well-respected by numerous journalists. The only child she has is her greatest joy in life. She was married twice, but is currently dating. Bash is an independent and tough woman. She is a fan of her followers.
