Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and composer. Avery Sunshine combines soul gospel with R&B for a distinctive combination. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway through the Democratic National Convention to the European club and festival scenes. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta Her roots lie from Chester Pennsylvania. There she was first introduced to the idea of becoming musician through playing guitar and singing at church. In Atlanta she was a student at Spellman College where her musical training began on the city's R&B Scene. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls a theatre production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival.
