Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father came from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader and spent her time reading books because she had no television. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. Lucas was released in 1986. Ryder, who was only 15, landed an acting job as a lead actress. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to make a difference. However, it didn't come to pass. Still, she pursued her dream. It was 1988 the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder continued to play successful roles in several movies. In 1993, she was awarded an Academy Award for The Age of Innocence.
